OPTION 2 - When staff is hired for Finger Food Menu

Finger Food Service: we will provide at no charge urn, cups & saucers tea & coffee. (Nescafe, International Roast or coffee LCS has in stock. (Brand of coffee is not always guaranteed) Napkins & tooth picks as well as all required equipment relevant for presentation of platters and service of food. China or disposable dessert plates will be provided for service of dessert depending on selected menu. We suggest all clients to provide disposable dessert plates for service of celebration cakes in a case where LCS dont provide any.

 

All this equipment will be delivered to your function with all food, by the staff members hired at least 30 min prior guest arrival. Our staff will be responsible to cook or heat, present & serve food. Service of food will run for approx 2-2 ½ hours followed by service of desert for a further 30min 1 hour. Service of drinks, cleaning of glass ware or removal of empty beverage bottles will not be provided by staff of Lauras Service.

 

Buffet Menus: will provide at no extra charge, china dinner & china desert plates, s/s cutlery, urn, cups & saucers, tea & coffee. . (Nescafe, International Roast or coffee LCS has in stock. (Brand of coffee is not always guaranteed)All this equipment will be delivered to your function with all food, by the staff members hired at a time recommended as above.Our staff will assist with maintaining the cleanliness of buffet, assist guests, clean & clear tables, clearaway buffet. They will also set up desert, tea & coffee assist guests, clean & clear tables. Wash and return all equipment provided to Laura’s Catering Service. Service of drinks, cleaning of glass ware or removal of empty beverage bottles will not be provided by staff of Laura’s Catering Service.

 

***It is extremely important due to OH&S that all guests stay clear of our work zone's (this may include kitchen area, walk way to & from the kitchen and all work stations) this make's flow of service easier and makes for a safe work zone for staff, as well as your guests.
 
Please make this clear to your guests especially if we are invited to work in your home.
We appreciate your understanding of this matter as we strive for enjoyment & safety of all whom attend your event.

 

*please ensure function room has workable oven, refrigeration and ample work space


 


 

When no staff is hired

A security bond of $300.00 is required and will be refunded when all equipment is CLEANED and returned to Laura's Catering Service no later than the following Thursday unless otherwise arranged. Please ring to arrange drop off before you leave. Any damaged or lost property will be compensated via deposit and balance paid back. China, cutlery & or glass ware is available at $2.00 per guest. (Check for availability) alternatively melamine dinner plates, Forks & Knifes can be provided at no charge, shall you wish to utilize our melamine dinner plate and fork/knife option please mention this on booking form - 'equipment required' (Note desert plates/spoons or disposables are not provided) Desert plates and spoons can be purchased from Laura's catering service from $2.00 pack. (for price list go to our service page and click on party supply price list link) .All food will be prepared and cooked according to food health & Safety, so we ask that responsibility is taken by the host to maintain all food temperatures and to make sure food is not left out for more than 1 hour. Any remaining food must be placed in proper storage, i.e. plastic containers with lids (to be provided by host) and placed in refrigerator. Consumption of any remaining food must not exceed 24 hours after delivery. Food must be reheated to temperatures above 60 degrees and only once, at this stage if there is any remaining foods please discard. Finger food menus that are booked with out a staff member. All finger food will be delivered on the day of the function at an arranged time prior guest arrival. All food must be heated, presented and served by the host. All cold food will be delivered on platters and food that require to be heated will be delivered in oven proof s/s dishes. No equipment or disposables will be provided.

 


 

Conditions

Laura's Catering Service does not cook with nuts, however we can not guarantee food or pantry items purchased with the intent to prepare and cook for function use, has not been prepared or processed at the same premises that nuts have been prepared or processed. Therefore we can not guarantee traces of nuts. Minimum booking of 30 ADULTS for buffet & finger food menu.Minimum order of $200 for lunch time delivery and minimum order of $500 for afternoon evening delivery, on corporate menu's. Delivery fee will be charged on all non local corporate bookings. Corporate menus will incur security deposit for all equipment. Deliver fee charged to functions exceeding 20 km from our John Street Address will incur a charge of $2.00 per km there after. All venues that have stairs or no easy access to and have been accepted by Laura's Catering Service will incur an extra $150 delivery Charge. Please ensure your selected venue has a full working Kitchen with running hot water & refrigeration, adequate kitchen with workable space, and easy access & parking for delivery with street level access to venue with no stairs *to discuss further contact Lorraine Finalizing numbers must be made no later than the Friday week before; otherwise you will be charged as per original booking if greater. Your honesty is appreciated when finalizing numbers; if this trust is breached and more guests are present the staff will charge you accordingly and or may refuse to continue with the service and  Drivers may refuse to leave

How to make your booking:

  1. First contact our office on 9366 5554 or via our contact us page,  and check for availability on your preferred date and delivery time. Feel free to make an appointment with our functions coordinator Lorraine to make your booking & discuss your event further. Alternatively Print our booking form, complete and post with your $300.00 booking deposit
  2. Tentatives are only valid for 30 days

Deposits can be made in person with cash or cheque to our office in John Street, by bank or Internet transfer (call to obtain our bank details), or by posting a Cheque payable to Laura's Catering Service 17 John St St Albans. 3021

 

    Booking Form 2016

Ensure your required date is available by contacting 9366 5554 or emailing us on dara.techyaustalia.com ,and a tentative booking is made on your behalf.

Tentative bookings are valid for 30 days  As it will not be accepted.  If transferring deposits via bank please use the date & surname as reference. Receipt of all booking forms & deposits will be made. 

 

All bookings are complete only when this form is read & understood, your booking form is completed & signed and  a $300.00 deposit is paid.  Once booking is finalized our office will be in contact with you 2 weeks prior to discuss your event further followed by an invoice, this will be issued and due 3 days before your function..

 

Tentative bookings are only valid for 30 days

 

Laura's Catering Service reserves the right to increase prices up to 5-10% per annum at any time up to 3 months prior your function. Should this occur you would be notified of the price increase in writing.

 

 

Cancellation Fees

Notice given

At least 60 days prior your function - 50% of deposit

At least 30 days prior your function - 100% of deposit

Less than 14 days prior your function - 85% of function cost. Based on min bookin
